The Felberturm Museum is housed in the fortified tower in Mittersill and, with around 5000 exhibits, is one of the most extensive local collections in the province of Salzburg.
The exhibition deals with working techniques of past times, the local fauna, hunting as well as minerals and the development of alpine skiing. In the transferred "Häuslbauernhaus" (house farmhouse) an old Troadkasten (grain box), a farm mill, a baking oven, a wagon shed and a fire station are shown.
