In the local history museum at Lerchen Castle you can immerse yourself in the past and gain an extensive insight into the working world of bakers, shoemakers, tailors, hairdressers etc. You can also learn something about Radstadt ceramics by means of exhibited tiles, ornamental ceramics, vases, jugs etc. Other topics include the development of skiing and the history of skiing from the Romans through the Middle Ages to modern times. On the ground floor of the museum there is an exhibition on geology and landscape. Here you can see various stones and minerals and the skull of a cave bear. The children can discover all kinds of things in the adventure gallery, the window into the Silurian shows the sea floor 400 million years ago.
