Right at the foot of the Mönchsberg is the St. Peter's Cemetery, one of the world's most interesting burial sites, thanks to its idyllic location and the arcades surrounding it.

Go on an interesting guided tour through the catacombs carved directly into the rocks of the Mönchsberg and learn more about their history. The rock catacombs date back to pre-Christian times and offer visitors the opportunity to descend to the communal crypt to view the graves of the composer Michael Haydn and the cathedral builder Santino Solar.
