At the turn of the millennium, free gold was found and this triggered the gold rush. In the Salzstadl Museum you can experience an exhibition of mining history exhibits, the gold ore processing in the Säumerstall and the mining settlement of 1741 with the miners' church Maria vom Guten Rat.
In the "Alte Pöck" next to the Hotel Evianquelle you have the opportunity to wash gold - a special experience. Guided tours on various topics take place regularly.
