Salt Worlds Hallein- Bad Dürrnberg...

The Salzburg Salt Worlds in Bad Dürrnberg are an experience for the whole family.

You embark on a journey through time when you enter the cave. The Celts were already mining "white gold" in Bad Dürrnberg around 2,500 years ago. The large salt deposits in Bad Dürrnberg made it possible for Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau to build the baroque residential city of Salzburg.

The highlight is above all the mine railway, the miners' slides and the underground raft ride across the salt lake.
