Farm vacations in Grossarl - the ideal place for your family vacation in Salzburger Land

Our comfortable farm is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Austria and in the heart of Ski amadé, Austria's largest ski area with 760 kilometers of slopes. Cozy, familiar and right on the ski slopes - that's how you stay at the Hedegghof in Grossarltal.

Choose between our cozy and bright double and family rooms with TV and shower/WC or the generously furnished and spacious apartments with 2 bedrooms, shower/WC, living room and fully equipped eat-in kitchen. 

In summer, the lush green alpine meadows spread out in front of the house and hikes or mountain bike tours take you through untouched nature. At any time of year, you have a wonderful view of the village of Grossarl and the picturesque surrounding mountain panorama from our farm.

From your bed to the slopes - the Hedegghof is located directly on the ski slope and in winter you can ski right up to the front door. But the best thing is that you can be the first to make your tracks on the still untouched and perfectly groomed slopes of the Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area in the morning, before the lifts take other skiers to the summit.

Your children will feel at home here at the Hedegghof. We have a large garden, animals to pet, a playground and much more. Your children can help look after and feed the animals, help with the hay harvest and explore life on our own alpine pasture.

If only we could preserve the current weather for a few days! But one of the oldest proverbs says “panta rhei” (“everything is in a state of flux”), and this particularly applies to the weather in Central Europe! After the sunshine of yesterday, the weather will deteriorate again. The cloud will gradually thicken and snow showers will arrive by evening.
