The brewery and the Bräustübl of the Augustinerbräu Kloster Mülln zu Salzburg have been in existence since 1621.
Today the Bräustübl is the largest beer restaurant in Austria (over 5,000 m² of floor space) and offers a further 1,500 seats in the restaurant garden.
The beer comes from wooden barrels and can be picked up self-service. The matching dishes can be found in the so-called "Schmankerlgang", which is reminiscent of a traditional market hall. Depending on the beer season, different types of beer are offered, chamfered or Christmas Bock beer. All brewery products are natural and without preservatives.
