The 4-star Hotel Waldfrieden is located in Rohrmoos above the mountain town of Schladming at an altitude of 1,100 meters directly on the Hochwurzenbahn. 

The location of the hotel offers an all-round view of the mighty mountain peaks of the Dachstein and plenty of clear mountain air for an enjoyable vacation.

When furnishing the rooms and suites, much emphasis was placed on comfort and partly a line with natural materials, such as different types of wood provided and a part of the premises designed in modern style. All rooms have a balcony and a beautiful view of the mountains.  
In winter, the Hotel Waldfrieden is ideally located directly at the chairlift, but also in summer there are cycling and hiking trails on the doorstep. 

Guests are spoiled with culinary delights and find relaxation in the spacious spa area with indoor pool with whirlpool bench and massage jets,the heated outdoor pool, the sauna area with family steam bath and various relaxation rooms.

If only we could preserve the current weather for a few days! But one of the oldest proverbs says “panta rhei” (“everything is in a state of flux”), and this particularly applies to the weather in Central Europe! After the sunshine of yesterday, the weather will deteriorate again. The cloud will gradually thicken and snow showers will arrive by evening.
